AdBlue faults repaired at your door

Whether your BMW’s throwing an AdBlue warning on the North Circular or the countdown’s already caught up with you in Croydon, you don’t need a dealer appointment or a tow truck. Our mobile engineers come to wherever your BMW is across London, remove the AdBlue fault permanently at the ECU level, and get you back on the road the same day.

We work on every diesel BMW that runs a factory AdBlue system, from the 116d up to the X7, so whatever’s throwing the fault, we’ve almost certainly seen it before. We also cover Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, so if you’re just outside the city, we’ve still got you.

Common BMW AdBlue faults

NOx sensor out of range

Dashboard shows an emissions fault and a mileage countdown.

AdBlue pump not dosing

Tank is full, yet the system reports it as low.

Heater circuit fault

Common after cold weather or long standing.

Crystallised dosing line

Urea deposits block the injector and pressure drops.

What we repair

Pump & tank repair

Failed AdBlue pumps, blocked lines and cracked tanks, fixed where you've parked.

NOx sensor replacement

Wrong readings trigger the countdown. We swap the sensor and clear the code.

Crystal clean-out

Dried urea build-up in injectors and pipes removed, not just reset.

Heater & level sensors

Frozen or faulty heaters sorted so the system can warm and dose again.

BMW’s SCR setup, built on the Bosch platform used across most of its diesel range, is more sensitive than people expect.

A quality sensor sits in the AdBlue tank, a heated line feeds the dosing pump, and NOx sensors sit both before and after the catalyst. Any one of those five points can fail on its own and knock out the whole system.

Cold-weather heater failures

The supply line has to stay warm enough for the fluid not to freeze. When the heater circuit weakens, especially over a British winter, the system logs a fault even though the AdBlue itself is fine.

Crystallisation around the injector

Urea dries and hardens inside the dosing nozzle if the car sits for long periods or does mostly short journeys, which is exactly the driving pattern a lot of BMW owners have.

I used this company to sort out adblue issues with my Vauxhall Combo Life, I was fed up of keep getting warning lights and threats of engine not starting if I continued to drive the car. I contacted Bolt Remaps and they came to me the same day and fixed my problems for good. Unfortunately, due to an error on my part, I overpaid, however, once they became aware of it they refunded me immediately. Both of the staff I was involved with were extremely friendly and efficient and I thoroughly recomend the company to anyone that needs help with adblue problems or engine remaps :-)

BMW AdBlue Removal FAQs

Can you fix the countdown before my BMW refuses to start?

Yes. In most cases we can reset the countdown and repair the root cause the same day you call, provided the car still starts. Once the countdown expires and the car is immobilised, we can still repair it but it may need a workshop visit.
