Mercedes AdBlue message on the dash? We come to you across London and the Midlands, from Ealing, Bromley and Newham to Solihull, Derby and Nottingham. Our engineer scans the car, repairs the fault and gets you moving again, often on the same day. No garage queue and no recovery truck.
We repair diesel Mercedes with BlueTEC AdBlue systems, from the A Class to the S Class and from the GLA to the GLS. Faults we fix include tank units, pumps, heaters, injectors, NOx sensors and damaged wiring. Repairs start from £249 and you agree the price before any work begins.
Mercedes owners often do school runs, commuting and short city trips. These runs keep the exhaust cooler than the SCR system likes, and that is when faults build up. Add a cold winter on the M1, M40 or M6 and warnings tend to appear. We see these cases every week and know where to look first.
The car asks for a top up. If it stays on after filling, a sensor is likely at fault.
A countdown shows how far you can drive before the engine will not start again.
The system found a fault it cannot fix on its own.
The car limits power to protect the exhaust until the fault is repaired.

A Mercedes AdBlue system has a heated tank unit with a pump and level sensor, a heated supply line and an injector in the exhaust. NOx sensors check the results. When one part weakens, the car may warn you even though the others still work.
Short journeys leave the exhaust too cool to burn off AdBlue residue. Over time it hardens inside the injector and restricts the spray.
The pump and heater sit inside the tank, working in cold and damp conditions. Years of use can wear them down and trigger a pressure or heater fault.
Parts matched to your Mercedes, fitted properly the first time.
New parts are coded so the car accepts them and the fault stays away.
Our repairs are covered by a warranty. Ask us for the terms when you book.

I used this company to sort out adblue issues with my Vauxhall Combo Life, I was fed up of keep getting warning lights and threats of engine not starting if I continued to drive the car. I contacted Bolt Remaps and they came to me the same day and fixed my problems for good. Unfortunately, due to an error on my part, I overpaid, however, once they became aware of it they refunded me immediately. Both of the staff I was involved with were extremely friendly and efficient and I thoroughly recomend the company to anyone that needs help with adblue problems or engine remaps :-)![]()

Mercedes AdBlue repairs start from £249. The final price depends on the fault, because a sensor, a pump and an injector cost different amounts. We scan first, explain the fault and quote the price. Work starts only when you agree.
Your Mercedes has found an AdBlue problem and is counting down the miles. When it reaches zero, the engine will not start again after you switch it off. The countdown only stops when the fault is repaired, so book early.
The car runs until you turn it off, then it will not restart. We then need to repair the fault and reset the system. If you are close to zero, call us before you switch the engine off.
The fluid is usually fine. The car may be reading a faulty sensor, a weak pump or a heater problem. Filling the tank does not fix these, so we scan the car and repair the part that has failed.
Only if the tank was really low. If the message stays, the cause is usually a sensor, pump or heater. Some Mercedes models also need a reset after the repair before the message goes away.
Most diesel Mercedes from around 2012 onward, depending on engine and year. Petrol models do not use AdBlue. Send us your registration and we will confirm whether your car has it.
AdBlue freezes at about minus 11°C, so the tank unit and line are heated. If the heater is weak, the car can log a fault on a cold start. It may clear when the engine warms up but usually comes back.
They are hardened urea left behind when the exhaust stays too cool, often after short trips. Caught early, the injector can be cleaned. If left, the line can block and parts need replacing.
The car relies on NOx sensors to check the exhaust. If one gives a wrong reading, the car cannot trust the system, so it may start the countdown or cut power. We replace and code the sensor, then test drive.
No. Our engineers scan, repair and code parts at your home, work or roadside. There is no dealer booking and no tow truck.
Yes. Old or contaminated fluid can trigger a quality code like P207F even when the level looks fine. We drain the tank, flush the system and refill with fresh fluid.
For a short time, yes, but the countdown keeps going and some models reduce power. It is best to book while you still have plenty of miles left.
Not if the real cause is fixed. Faults return when only the code is cleared and the part is still failing. We repair the cause, reset the system and road test the car.
We cover London and the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Walsall, Dudley, Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. If your area is not listed, call us, as we can often still reach you.
We aim for the same day when you call early. The exact time depends on your location and how busy we are, and we will give you a realistic arrival time when you call.
